Student Life
Student life at CCS is vibrant and well-rounded, offering opportunities for growth in athletics, spiritual life, and the fine arts. From cheering on Cougar teams to exploring creativity in the arts and picking up the latest gear at the Cougar Cave, students thrive in a Christ-centered community that encourages them to grow and excel.
Christ-Centered Education
Cincinnati Christian Schools is living out its purpose everyday by providing an extraordinary learning environment in partnership with our Christian families; teaching and encouraging our students to serve Christ in all they do in order to impact their culture in which they live.
Preparing students for future success
Our balanced and thorough academic program lays the groundwork for outstanding achievement in college, career, and beyond. More than that, our students discover their purpose as creative thinkers and servant-leaders within the world. CSS students become informed and transformed.
The Right Choice
We believe your child is the most important gift you’ll ever receive, and their education, the most important gift you’ll ever give. We invite you to consider CCS as your partner in that endeavor.
College Credit Plus (CCP) is Ohio’s dual enrollment program and provides opportunities for students in grades 7–12 to earn college credits while still in high school. Students can simultaneously earn college and high school credits by taking college courses from Ohio colleges and/or universities. The purpose of this program is to promote rigorous academic pursuits and to provide a wide variety of options to college-ready students at limited or no cost to families.
CCS is excited to announce that there will be 20 dual enrollment courses right here on our campus during the 2025–2026 school year. Most of these are taught by our own teachers, who are also adjunct faculty at Cincinnati State College or instructors with Cedarville University. The courses offered are consistent with the “general education” requirements of many college majors and are highly transferable to other public, private, in-state, and out-of-state institutions of higher learning. Students who choose to participate in CCP can take the courses offered on our CCS campus, on a local college campus, or online through a participating Ohio college.
Alumni of CCS have benefitted from this program by eliminating a semester or even a full year off the time it took to complete their college major. Other alumni added an additional major or minor to their college program or had the freedom to take fewer credit hours per semester, allowing them to volunteer, work, or do research at the college.
To participate in CCP during the 2025–2026 school year, students and parents must complete a state-required counseling session. If they did not attend the CCP Annual Informational Meeting on January 23, 2025, they must watch the recording(s) of the meeting included below. These recordings will provide more information about the college admission process, eligibility requirements for participation, and how to apply for funding from the state of Ohio. If you are new to the CCP program, please watch both recordings. If you are already a CCP student, please watch the recording for “All CCP Students and Parents.” After watching the recording(s), please print and sign the last page of the “CCS Counseling Session Documentation” included here. Signing and returning this last page meets the state requirement for participation for the 2025–2026 school year. Students who do not return this documentation will be ineligible for participation in CCP for the 2025–2026 school year.
The presentation used in the recording is also available for reference and can be found here. The model pathways distributed at the meeting can be found here.
The state of Ohio will open its funding application for nonpublic students on February 1, 2025. The funding application manual is included here. The funding application will close on April 1, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. No exceptions are made to this deadline. Award letters will be sent via email in early May.
