Strengths Walter brings to the board: Walter Dobbins Jr. brings a strong combination of technology leadership, strategic thinking, community service, and a heart for Christian education to the Cincinnati Christian Schools Board. With more than 25 years of experience in information technology, including his time working at Apple Inc. and his current role as a Senior Systems Engineer at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Walter offers valuable insight into systems, innovation, security, process improvement, and long-term planning. His experience serving in board leadership, including his current work as President of Children’s Medical Center Federal Credit Union, has strengthened his understanding of governance, accountability, collaboration, and organizational stewardship. Walter brings a thoughtful and service-minded approach to the board, with a desire to support the mission of CCS, strengthen the school community, and help prepare students to grow spiritually, academically, and personally.

Personal testimony: Walter’s faith has been shaped from birth through a lifelong connection to church, family, worship, and service. He has served for more than 25 years in ministry as Chief Musician at First Baptist Church of Mt. Auburn Ministries in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he has had the opportunity to support worship, encourage others, and use his gifts in service to God. His walk with Christ continues to guide how he leads, serves, and makes decisions.
