Elementary Art Fair

Each year, the Elementary Campus displays a culmination of our students’ work throughout the year in an art fair venue. The art fair pieces highlight what the students have been learning during the year within their art program. Artwork using a wide variety of media is represented—from painting, drawing, ceramics, sculptures, and more!

The event runs in tandem with Grandparents Day, which is usually around the first week in May. It begins the Thursday night before Grandparents Day and runs through the Friday of Grandparents Day. The grandparents (and other family members) can walk around and enjoy looking at all the artworks created, as well as “claim” their student’s work to take home.

Additionally, grades 4–6 artwork is judged, and a variety of ribbons are awarded to notable works of art. This is traditionally a very exciting event for our CCS family; it showcases how God has blessed each student with unique creative talents, which manifests themselves by way of tangible “gifts” of handcrafted art.
